Netball Update – October 2019

By: Kirsty Williams, Club Secretary

After a successful AGM last night its exciting to let you know that all executive and committee positions have been filled!

Monique Crossling stepped down as President after several years of leading the Netball Committee. I’m so pleased to announce that Hayley Walter has committed to taking on the role as President. Hayley has such a passion for not only netball in general, but for our wonderful club!

Mary McClure will be the new Vice President and provide invaluable support to Hayley, being a recent past President herself.

I will continue as Secretary and Kelsey Heinrich has stepped up to take on the Treasurer role.

Sarah Edwards is continuing with the Umpire Coordinator role and has some innovative ideas to encourage, support and develop our umpires.

We have a couple of new faces joining us in Pip Woodard, Madeline Moss and Susie Maber. We are so excited to welcome fresh ideas and input from these girls! Pip takes on the Budget Scribe position for the second year which is much appreciated.

Emma Rasheed takes on the Junior Coordinator role after many years as Secretary. Emma will be a great asset to our junior players and parents.

Along with Hayley, Lucy Munn and Nadia Marie make up the coaches selection committee.

I must mention outgoing committee members Monique Crossling, Joanna Brewin and Brooke Mac Donald. Between these girls they have selflessly dedicated hundreds of hours to our club. We thank them all for their commitment over the years as they are such wonderful examples of true club people! Thank you ladies and we look forward to still seeing you around!

The committee is looking forward to everyone joining us for a successful 2020 season on and off the courts!! Stay tuned for further updates regarding coaches, players and preseason sessions 🐯🐯🐯
