Club Summary

The Kybybolite Football & Netball Club boasts a proud history that dates all the way back to 1906. Known as the ‘Kyby Tigers’, the club competes in the Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football & Netball Leagues (KNTFL & KNTNA), fielding two senior & two junior football teams, four senior & six junior netball teams.

In all, we have won 33 football & 24 netball premierships across all grades. The A Grade Tigers have played in several finals series, most recently being premiership runners-up in 2010 & 2016.

The club has had several players that have gone on to excel; AFL Brownlow Medallist 2020 – Lachie Neale, Jack Trengove in the AFL, Jess Trengove in the Olympics & Commonwealth Games are just a few of our most well known exports.

We’re proud of our history and passionate about our community. Each week more than 200 players, coaches and volunteers take to the ground and the court to represent our club from juniors right through to seniors. We are focused on developing to our highest level, in an atmosphere of professionalism, commitment and great fun.

Our club is the hub of our community and well known for its social functions and community involvement. Sponsorships, community fund raising and the hard work of our many volunteers ensure our continued growth to achieve our goals; which include developing our young players into leaders through competitive team environments.
Our aim is to provide our players, supporters and members with a family orientated environment. We are dedicated to the development of our juniors and the future success of our club.

Location, Grounds, Clubrooms & Facilities

The nearest town is Naracoorte, (population 4,888) in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia, approximately 330 km south-east of Adelaide and 100 km north of Mount Gambier on the Riddoch Highway.
We have been playing on the present site since 1947. In 1975 we opened the new club rooms and have made regular improvements over the years, with facility upgrades including electronic scoreboard, multi-media big screen & projector, a disabled ramp access and new reverse cycled air conditioning upstairs.

Our Club is proud to be a `Level 3 Good Sports Club'

Sporting clubs such as ours play a significant role in the community and have a responsibility to our members and their families.

We have chosen to join over 7000 clubs across Australia taking part in the Good Sports program.
