Junior preseason training will commence on Thursday February 15th for 2 weeks at 4.30-5.30 at the Naracoorte North Primary School. We understand some people may have commitments to other sports but it would be great to see lots of new and old faces out and ready to kick the season off!
Junior training this season will be held at KYBY Netball Courts, commencing on Thursday March 1st. The committee has not made this change lightly, however we believe for the benefit of our junior development within the club and convenience for players and coaches this change will be a positive one for the club.
At this stage training times will be-
13C’s, 13B’s & 13A’s 4.15-5.15
15B’s, 15A’s & U17’s 5.20-6.30
Also we are opening up expressions of interest for anyone wanting to coach a junior team this season. We still have some positions available so if you are thinking you may like to coach or even help out as a team manager please contact myself (0438 803 955, mcrossling11@gmail.com) or Kelsey Heinrich (0401 237 098, mandkheinrich13@bigpond.com) to discuss.
Senior preseason is in full swing and is on again this Tuesday at 6.15 pm at North School Courts. Please if you intending on playing this season you MUST attend some of these training’s or advise if unable to make them. We have had some really good numbers including juniors which has been great to see.
We only have 2 more weeks of preseason before club trials start, so make sure you have looked at the calendar Nadia posted and put all the important dates in your diary!
If you haven’t already heard our A Grade Netball Coach this season is Brooke McIntyre. She will be joined by Nadia Sears taking on the role as Assistant Coach, together Brooke and Nadia will set up structures early in preseason to assist where Brooke cannot make Thursday night trainings. We will also hold some Sunday morning trainings throughout the season so please keep an eye out for those.
Brooke and the other Adelaide girls are coming down at least 4 times before round 1, this is a huge commitment from them and I hope we show them the same. After game day Brooke and Nadia will chat and plan weekly trainings and keep in continuous contact the entire season to ensure the smooth running of trainings and game days.
Such an exciting time for our club!

– Please reply to the poll regarding playing at Robe on Good Friday

– VERY IMPORTANT – tomorrow Sunday 21st at 10am is a whole club busy bee. Please if you can make it, even just for an hour it would be greatly appreciated! We have a great event being held at the club in February with the Womens Football League playing their games at Kyby so we need to get the place looking shmick!!
(We will hold another clean up session closer to the season starting)

We would rather hear things first hand and deal with anything that arises. We are all very passionate about our wonderful club and only want to see it go from strength to strength! 2018 is going to be a big year at Kyby, so let’s all work together to make it happen!
